We had our AC/Heater checked out this morning. Shumate was on time and gave us the information that we needed. Our technician was very professional and knowledgeable.

My morning started off badly waking up to 90 plus degrees in the house and two young kids. We relocated here from another state 6 months ago and didn't know who to call for this type of work. I started to search companies online to find who the best one to trust in the Raleigh area. I noticed Shumate had the best rating out of them all. I called them not expecting a person to answer at 7am, so happy to actually to talk to someone. Not only did Leslie get a technician at my house at 8am that same morning but Richard repaired it correctly. I did take advantage of their coupons on their website though, thanks to Richard. I took the time and waited 30 days before writing this review in case I had any issues, absolutely none! I would not only use Shumate again but I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, quick responding professional air conditioning company. Thank you so much!

Shumate installed a complete new heat pump and air handler system for us last week, after our 20-year-old system died in the 100 degree heat. They were fantastic in every way! JR came out less than an hour after we first called at 7 am. We soon had a temporary cooling unit up and running after a thorough dignosis of our failed system. From design to installation and start-up, the process moved quickly and efficiently. The service was professional, comprehensive, reasonably priced, and friendly. Everything was included, from hardware to instruction and rebate forms. Our experience with Shumate was wonderful and we would recommend them highly and without reservation. I recently had the pleasure of discussing AC system options for my home with Albert B. of Shumate Mechanical. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout. He had answers for all of my questions and I never felt as if I was being pressured.

I had an AC unit go out and the temperature forecast was to be over 100 for the next few days. They managed to send a service technician out my lunchtime and repairs were done and house was cooled to desired temperature before dinner. The service technician was polite, professional, and explained the needed repairs. I would highly recommend calling Shumate when you are in need of service.
